  Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I bring my own furniture?

A: While we provide furnished rooms, you may bring items that you treasure. The facility social worker will be happy to meet with you to best advise you concerning personal furniture as space permits.

Q: What about transportation?

A: Scheduled transportation can be provided to physician's appointments, sightseeing, to cultural and social events or shopping.  A small fee may be added for these services.

Q: What meals are included?

A: Our chef prepares a variety of fresh and delicious meals and snacks each day. Choices are offered at our breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals, which are enjoyed in our family style dining room.

Q: What about emergencies?

A: CCOH offers an emergency call system. This is installed as a pull-cord in the bedroom and bath. The notification signal is sent directly to our staff to respond to the situation and take appropriate action.  Nursing staff are trained to provide appropriate care during an emergency (i.e. CPR).

Q: What types of activities or trips do you offer?

A: Exercise, musical and social groups as well as church services are routinely conducted by activities staff and volunteers. We schedule trips to local malls and sightseeing to various attractions for a "change of pace".
